"3. INTERNATIONAL YILMAZ SOUTH CARTOON CONTEST ”

Theme:

Cinema and Immigrants

Conditions:

 The competition is open to all amateur and professional world artists

The technique is free for the works that will participate in the competition

Works must not have been awarded in any competition before

The socialist, progressive, critical, realistic and innovative values that are embodied in the cinema of Yılmaz Güney in the participating cartoons and which are already at the core of the cartoon should be especially taken into consideration

Participants can send as many works as they want

The cartoons to be sent must be in A3 (29.7 cm x 42 cm) size, 300 dpi resolution and jpg format

All the artists should send their name, postal address, telephone, e-mail address, short CV and one photograph together with the works

Prizes:

As a result of the evaluation; “Yılmaz Güney Honor Award” will be given to 3 cartoonists,

“Yılmaz Güney Culture and Art Festival Special Award” to 1 cartoonist,

and “Jury Special Award” to 1 cartoonist. In addition, "Yılmaz Güney Freedom Award" will be given to 2 cartoonists from prisons.

The awards include “Specially Designed Figurine, Yılmaz Güney Books Set and Original Yılmaz Güney Movie Posters” published by Yılmaz Güney Foundation
